(Image produced from the Ordnance Survey Election-Map service and reproduced with kind permission of Ordnance Survey.) The Stone Parliamentary Constituency is one of the largest in the country. With the market town of Stone at its centre, the constituency stretches from north of Stafford across to the outskirts of Newport, then up to skirt around Market Drayton passing south of Keele, Newcastle and the Potteries, then up beyond Cheadle to Alton Towers before coming south to include Tean and Checkley down to Hixon and the Haywoods. Yes - a very large constituency indeed! If you wish to view the map of the constituency in more detail, click on the map above to enter the OS Election Maps website.
